An interesting article by Epoch Times discussed briefly what the founding fathers of the constitution meant by virtue in freedom: .

I honestly believe that without any moral grounds of virtue, there would be no “constitutional grounds,” of which bears resemblance to a true humane humankind that would decipher right from wrong. Society is downgrading and many people are lost without connection to the true living God of the universe and most importantly, to their true selves. They live in the fast lane and with no hope, hustle for money, cars, sex and all the worldly goods without actually finding real meaning in living life freely, happily, and simply.
