Taiwan Protest against “Red Media” Outlets

On June 23rd in heavy rain, thousands of protesters took to the streets to protest against the “red media” outlets, whom have been influenced by China. Two men primarily responsible for the organized protest, Youtuber Holger Chen and the New Power Party (NPP) legislator named Huang Kuo-Chang said it was also protesting against the Chinese Communistic Party (CCP). The reason for doing so had to do with these red media outlets who takes money from corporations to slant stories to either cover up the truth or be biased in favor of these corporations.
