Open letter to the Teatro Real in Madrid

On January 31 and February 2, Shen Yun Performing Arts, the leading Chinese music and dance company based in New York which aims to bring back authentic and traditional Chinese arts, was set to perform at the Teatro Real in Madrid.
Unfortunately, the theater, as a result of pressure from the Chinese Embassy in Spain, canceled the show, citing technical reasons.
The World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG), a nonprofit organization which investigates human rights abuses against Falun Gong practitioners, conducted an investigation that revealed how the Chinese ambassador to Spain, Lü Fan, exerted pressure on the theater to persuade him to cancel the contract with Shen Yun Performing Arts.
Lü threatened the director of Teatro Real, warning him that he could not afford to lose the Chinese market because of the Shen Yun show.
The Real Theater should support Shen Yun Performing Arts and its mission to revive the 5,000 years of traditional Chinese culture with dance and music; things that the Chinese Communist Party has almost completely destroyed since it took power.
Traditional Chinese culture focused on moral values and was divinely inspired.
In ancient times, people lived in harmony with the universe and saw a connection in all things, whereas today in modern society we have lost our innocence and our original nature, diverted by the unbridled rush to technology that has alienated us and made us unhappy and insensitive to true beauty and authentic art.
Now the so-called “modern art” is fashionable, represented by confused and degenerate creations that no longer really have anything beautiful.
We lost our sense of harmony, both in the visual and musical arts, and young people idolize and revere characters like rock singers, who can no longer define themselves as artists and have nothing in common with the true singers of the past.
The cinema has also become corrupt and Hollywood is increasingly influenced by the CCP, which evaluates its films and scripts.
When someone allows himself to criticize the CCP, as Richard Gere did by raising the Tibet issue, they are no longer accepted and allowed to work in the industry over the long term.
The CCP dictatorship has destroyed human culture and values, and brainwashed people to maintain its control over China.
It also tries to control the world through its power and galloping economic growth.
Shen Yun brings true values to society, including ancient wisdom on the principles of truth, compassion, and tolerance.
The CCP has overthrown the natural order, is against humanity, and perpetrates unacceptable crimes.
In conclusion, Shen Yun Performing Arts represents a wonderful rainbow that replaces the gray sky in the everyday world we live in, with an artistic expression of beauty, and because of this we should all support it and go to watch the show.
